Goddesses!
Mission 3
The goddesses of Greece ruled the universe from atop of Mount Olympus alongside the Gods. They will NOT let their powers go to waste! As producers you are entitled to choose two Greek Goddesses that will sit alongside two gods at the table of Mount Olympus.
Research any two Greek goddesses from the list below:
Demeter (Ceres)
Aphrodite (Venus)
Hera (Juno)
Athena (Minerva)
Artemis (Diana)
Hestia (Vesta)
Dionysus

1. Each group member will chose a Greek goddess from the list above.
2. Once each group member has chosen a Greek goddesses to research, you will have to do research on the goddesses you chose and answer the following questions:
*Who is the Greek goddess that you chose?
*What are they known for? Goddess of _________
*What story or myth are they apart of?
* Anything else you found interesting!!
3. After each group member has done their research on their chosen goddess and have answered the questions, gather together as a group and discuss your findings. Each member will complete the graphic organizer to organize all the material about the 4 goddesses researched within the group. (When ready download and print graphic organizer)
4. As a team you will create your own two Greek goddesses- make sure to include:
-Give them a name
-What they are known for?
-Why are they the goddesses of Greece?
-What powers do they have
- Write a story about your goddess (their myth)
*Each member must contribute at least one idea and each story must have 4 sections. *
5. When the group is done with everything, go to the ALMOST THERE MISSION and let the teacher know!
