Before you begin your remake on The Adventures of
Odysseus, you need to do research on the Heroes of
Greece. What’s a play without a powerful Hero!

1. As producers you will need to do research on Greek heroes, which you will need later for your theatrical play.
Research any Greek Heroes from the list below:
Jason
Hercules
Bellerophon
Theseus
Odysseus
Perseus
Each group member will pick one hero from the list above.
2. Once each group member picks a hero, each member will be in charge of researching more about his/her hero and answer the following questions:
=What Greek Hero was chosen?
=Why is this hero a hero of Greece?
=What are the heroes known for?
=What was his/her heroic mission?
=Anything else you found interesting!!
3. Come together as a group and discuss your findings with each other. Each member will complete the graphic organizer to organize all the material about the heroes researched within the group. (When ready download and print the graphic organizer when ready)
4. As a team, chose two heroes and write a story incorporating both heroes, rewriting a different version of their heroic mission. - Make sure to include:
-The two heroes
-Who did they defeat?
-How did they defeat the enemy?
-What was their reward for defeating the enemy?
*Each member must contribute at least one idea and each story must have 4 sections. *
5. When the group is done with everything go to the ALMOST THERE MISSION and let the teacher know!
